Gait Happens Virtual Consultations

The Virtual Consultation has a specific timeline that must be adhered to. The Intake form and videos must be uploaded into TrueCoach no later than 2 days before the consultation scheduled date. Failure to do so will result in a canceled booking with no refund or possibility to reschedule. If you are having difficulty uploading your videos, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours before the session. Within 48 hours and the booking will be canceled with no refund and you may reschedule your appointment for an additional $75 fee.

You may reschedule the session no more than 2 times. Rescheduling more than 2 times will result in a canceled booking with no refund.

There are no refunds on the purchase of a virtual consultation once the consultation has taken place.

The Virtual Consultation package expires after 6 months. Unused appointments will not be refunded.

Clients who have not had an appointment within 365 days will require a new initial appointment.

Users will need a stable and strong internet connection and a computer or phone for the call.

We carry out the virtual consultation using Zoom or a similar video call solution.

We will store the videos and follow up info and exercise plan for 6 months post session. We can remove data at User’s request before that time.

Each Virtual Practitioner administering the virtual consultation is required to have liability / professional insurance in order to be listed on our website. Gait Happens LLC does not take any responsibility – medically, physically or otherwise for the virtual consultation offering.

The results of any recommendation program cannot be guaranteed and user’s progress depends on effort and cooperation in and outside of the sessions.

All consultation session rates are based on time as dictated by the session title and description. Should a user arrive late, there is no guarantee that user will receive the full session with the instructor. In return, if the instructor is late for a session, user will still receive the full session time. Should a user arrive more than 10 minutes late to a session the session will be canceled without refund. If the user would like to reschedule the session a $75 rescheduling fee will be applied to the appointment.

I agree that I wish to participate in the virtual consultation offered by Gait Happens. I understand there are inherent risks in participating in a program of exercise. Consequently, I have been examined by a physician of my choice and have obtained his/her approval for my participation in a fitness program within sixty (60) days of the date set forth below. No change has occurred in my physical condition since the date such approval was given which might affect my ability to participate in the fitness program. I agree that Courtney Conley, Jenifer Perez, or Gait Happens LLC shall not be liable or responsible for any injuries to me resulting from my participation in the fitness program (whether at home, in an online format, at the training studio, outdoors, or at a corporate, commercial, residential or other fitness facility) and I expressly release and discharge Courtney Conley, Jenifer Perez, Gait Happens LLC, and contracted Virtual Practitioners of Gait Happens LLC from all claims, actions, judgments and the like which I or my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns may have or claim to have as a result of any injury or other damage which may occur in connection with my participation in the fitness program, excepting only an injury caused by the gross negligence or intentional act of such person or persons. This Release shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

Gait Guru and Foot Function – Subscription Membership

Please note that, Gait Guru and Foot Function are streaming only products and no video downloads will be made available.

Unlike most other products and offerings on this platform, Gait Guru and Foot Function subscription can be canceled at any time and the membership will not renew at the next payment period after the cancellation. User will no longer have access to subscription materials after the subscription has ended.

Gait Happens LLC will not refund nor prorate any payment received.

Functional Gait Assessment – In Person Course

The price doesn’t include lodging or meals.

All cancellations or modifications must be made before the start of the scheduled workshop and are subject to a $ 50 processing fee.

Full refund minus the processing fee for cancellations up until 30 days prior to a Functional Gait Assessment course.

There are no refunds for cancellations done within 30 days before the start of the workshop, however, registration is transferable to a future Functional Gait assessment course within 1 year of the previously registered course.

Once the workshop has begun no refund or credit will be issued.

Functional Gait Assessment Level 2 - In Person Course

Completing Functional Gait Assessment Level 1 is a requirement in order to take Functional Gait Assessment Level 2. By registering for Level 2 you are agreeing that you have completed Level 1. Any registrant who has not completed Level 1 will forfeit their Level 2 registration. The cost of registration may be refunded with greater than 14 days notice or registration credit may be transferred to another FGA course within 1 year of the original registration date.

Online and Hybrid Courses and Programs

Once the user has access to course materials, or after 7 days since the purchase date, whichever term becomes applicable first, no refunds will be granted for online course or program materials.

Payment Plan Terms and Conditions

By selecting a payment plan, you are agreeing to pay the full amount owed for the program or course over several payment installments. If you wish to cancel your purchase for a refund you may do so within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days refunds are no longer available and you are responsible for the full amount owed for the designated product.
